    Fleet Tracking and Dispatching System for Prophesy Transportation

     

    Azoft worked closely with Prophesy Transportation Solutions, Inc., to develop a GIS application for transportation and trucking companies. This web application supports different GIS providers such as Yahoo Maps, Google Maps, ESRI ArcGIS, etc. and allows you to schedule appointments, identify delays in real time, get automated check calls from your fleet drivers and more.

     

    The solution works on mobile communication devices and transmits information directly to the server, where all the data can be monitored and retrieved from. This significantly facilitates daily trucking operations and eliminates the need of manual processing.

    Network Inventory OSS Data Migration & Data Integrity Processor

     

    The project was aimed at replacing the company's legacy system with a modern OSS system (Amdocs Cramer 6) that pertained all the functionality and data from the previous installation. Because migration is a complex time-consuming process, our engineers introduced a novel and easy solution that allowed data migration from the database in several phases. This ensured a flawless upgrade process that saved time and forces, and thus, the customer's budget.

     

    The upgrade to a newer inventory system and its data consolidation made it possible to automate real-time data validation processes and improve maintenance cycles. Furthermore, we developed a Mobile Inventory application that could be installed on mobile phones or pocket PCs.

    SugarCRM & Order Management for Freight Forwarding Company

     

    Azoft enhanced the functionality of existing web CRM system (SugarCRM) according to customer specifications and seamlessly integrated it with the OMP.

     

    The web development implied a route optimization module that was integrated with Google Maps, an order module, enhanced employees and user accounts, integration with a Global Address Book and more.

    Banking Products Performance Optimization for CFT

     

    Azoft resolved stability issues with the banking products system as well as optimized its performance and eliminated memory leaks. In addition to software and web development, the scope of the project also included additional enhancements in the system's business logic as well as the configuration of the IBM WebSphere server and replacement of the crypto-functions in Oracle JDBC drivers.

     

    The tests demonstrated that the overall system performance was increased by more than 2 times while some operations were improved by 300-900%.

    Location-aware Taxi Ordering Application

     

    The project was done in close collaboration with a Norwegian software and web development company that subcontracted to Azoft the development of this iPhone and Android application featuring local awareness.

     

    As a result, our company developed a multi-language mobile application for Android devices and iPhones that facilitated taxi mapping and ordering the nearest taxi cab in the area.

     

    The application was developed for iPhone and then ported to the Android OS with the entire original graphic interface adjusted to the new platform.

    Azoft developed a customized internal Order Management System that reflected a complex logics of the customer delivery plans while was easy to operate.     I found Azoft in June 2003, when I needed expertise in web development, Java and Mobile communications to give my company's development efforts a boost. Our company, Prophesy, started them on a complex project creating an application that integrated GPS enabled mobile phones with the Internet and through the Internet into our desktop application.


    The Azoft team did an excellent job on this and we soon expanded the effort to include implementing other vehicle tracking applications for a mobile data terminal and a trailer tracking application for the transportation industry.


    In addition to doing some of our most critical web development, the Azoft team also helped me to grow my internal staff. Azoft was invaluable in helping me find in Russia and hire in the U.S. two critical and highly skilled developers to join my Connecticut based staff.

    Before employing Azoft we had an ASP model, however, some of our clients required independent programs on their own servers. The challenge to Azoft was to build our application in a way that it could be used on our clients servers without significant additional cost to our clients. They elected to use an open source database and rebuilt the entire application in months, which was a pleasant surprise since the original application was built and changed over a 7 year period.


    Since then Azoft has made hundreds of enhancements at our request and keeps the application running 24/7. Azoft is very easy to work with and explicitly follows our users requirements with good page and work flow design. That is extremely important since the individuals that use the system are not experienced and the program must be easy, intuitive and have sufficient validations and aids to avoid errors.


    Our clients are demanding and when they request new features they want the feature installed as soon as possible. Azoft typically installs the new feature within days and some of the enhancements can be quite sophisticated. Their time estimates are accurate and deadlines are always met. We have a relationship for 4 years and have been most pleased.

    We have been working with Azoft for something like one year on different projects. We had been in touch with their programming team. We see their programming team is quite skilled. We really appreciate the web development services that we have with Azoft. We really have many projects together, because we see their programming team is reliable, so the programmers are basically keen at providing on-time service and also understanding the business.
